Explores psychological aspects of wabi-sabi, using the technique suminagashi as a device to challenge perfectionism.
The more authentic we are, the happier we are. Perfection is elusive, and perhaps inauthentic. I am inspired by the Japanese aesthetic sensibility wabi-sabi. I embrace the fact that life is imperfect and fleeting. This, in addition to an avid interest in behavioral psychology, is the starting point of my work as a Vietnamese designer. Through my design, I probe for deeper meaning and beauty in all things.
